Alpha terms

Helm is in alpha, serving its design partners.

A draft dated 4 October 2026, written by Helm without legal review.

Using Helm

Helm is in a private alpha for its design partners. By connecting your Claude to Helm, or by signing an operation Helm proposed, you accept these terms as they stand on the date above.

Invitation

Money in on a live chain is by invitation only. Helm proposes no operation that puts money in from a Safe the Helm team has not invited; one-shot exits, partial exits, repays and withdrawals run for every Safe.

The alpha cap

On a live chain an operation may put in at most the alpha cap of the Safe's own funds per asset, on a supply, borrow or swap. An operation is one proposal your owners sign; where it carries several capped steps in the same asset, they are added together.

The cap is set in each asset's own units: 100 dollars divided by a fixed price ceiling for that asset, rounded down. Helm reads no price when it applies the cap. While an asset trades under its ceiling, the capped amount is worth less than 100 dollars; if it trades above its ceiling, the same amount is worth more. The cap does not move with the market.

AssetPrice ceilingAt most, per operation
USDC$1100 USDC
WETH$3,5000.0285 WETH
wstETH$4,5000.0222 wstETH

A loop counts on the funds the Safe puts in at its first step, measured like a supply. The borrowing that levers it is not the Safe's own funds and is not counted again.

One-shot exits, partial exits, repays and withdrawals are never capped.

Your Safe

Helm reads, previews and proposes operations on a Safe that its owners sign; Helm never signs.

Nothing runs on its own; every operation waits for the owners' signatures.

A connection from your Claude to Helm covers one Safe on one chain for one owner and ends after 90 days; any owner can end it sooner on the Connect page. Your owners act in Safe{Wallet} without Helm at any time.

Risk

Funds can be lost. Every operation on a live chain carries the risks of the venues it touches, the assets it moves and the chain it runs on: a venue can fail, a price can move, a contract can hold a defect, a chain can halt. Helm cannot reverse an operation your owners have signed.

Helm's contracts are not independently audited and their source is not yet published.

Helm proposes what your Claude asks for and your owners decide; nothing Helm shows is advice on what to do with your funds.

What Helm stores

Helm reads public chain state and stores the Safe, owner to Telegram links, the room, operation history, hashed sign-in tokens and the consent signature; it sees tool calls only.

Cost

Helm is free during the alpha.

Gas is paid by Helm's relayer during the alpha.

No warranty

Helm is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, Helm is not liable for any loss arising from an operation your owners signed or from the alpha being paused, changed or ended.

Changes

Helm may change these terms, pause the alpha or end it at any time. The date at the top of this page says which version you read.

Governing law and entity

These terms do not yet name a contracting entity or a governing law.
